Medical Consultations:
The Newhall Medical Practice provides medical services to a number of local and regional companies and to the local branches of national and international companies.
We can provide private GP consultations to individuals for specific medical problems. This can significantly reduce the time that employees lose from work when attending a doctor.
These consultations can either be funded by the individual or by the company in a form of ‘block booking’ that we can offer to some companies. Naturally, clinical details are kept confidential and are not released to the company.
We can generally offer a ‘same day service’ and can provide a prompt and sympathetic service.
Occupational Health:
We provide an Occupational Health service to a number of local companies. This would include advice to companies and individuals on short and long-term illnesses and work ability. We can suggest reasonable adjustments that might be considered to get that person back to work or to increase attendance. We can also offer advice on ill-health retirement and for pre-employment assessments.
